| Tribe HeadquartersMy name is Michael and welcome to my home page - Tribe HeadquartersWhen you pull that Indians parallel, insert, GU or AUTO... come HERE for a trade! ################################################# Recent projects needing attention (see my want pages for more details)... * 2008 Upper Deck Documentary GOLD parallels - recently started set with a long way to go (yes, I'm crazy)! * 2010 Topps Opening Day BLUE parallels #/2010 * Always looking for current Indians, Steelers and U.S. President cards that I need. In some scenarios, I'll consider items I already have. * I've recently started a serial-numbered only, HOF collection for guys that played in the 1970s. These are my childhood favorites that are appearing in many "retro" sets and insert/parallel sets. ################################################# ******************************************************************** A quick note concerning my trading habits... Please recognize that card collecting is my HOBBY, not my job! The focus of my life is my family and I regularly disappear for a few days from the hobby. This is unannounced and unpredictable. My professional schedule often limits my activity to weekends and sometimes I can't mail items during the week. I appreciate your patience when you find that I am not responding to e-mail or if my return shipment is a few days behind yours. It is not my intention to abandon a trade so feel free to e-mail me again as a reminder. ********************************************************************* My priorities in a single sentence... I collect Jim Thome, Indians, Steelers, an occasional complete set, Pirates, Jake Peavy, Larry Fitzgerald, and Robin Yount. I have many other interests but those are my priorities. My football and baseball sets run from the early 70s through the mid 80s with some scattered throughout the 90s. I still collect an occasional complete set but mostly limit my set collecting to Indians, Pirates and Steelers team sets including oddballs and parallels. I also have a list of favorite players from all sports so it is virtually impossible to NOT find something that interests me. Jim Thome is the focus of my player collections. I currently have over 3600 different Jim Thome singles! My eight-year-old son started collecting Indians fan favorite, Grady Sizemore, so I'm always interested in his singles, parallels and oddballs. He has also taken a liking to new Carolina Panthers QB Jimmy Clausen. My son also collects jokers from decks of playing cards. If you have any kicking around your game room, send them my way please! His page is linked from this page (upper left corner). My set WANT links and my player collection WANT/HAVE links are located in the links section (upper left) of this SCF home page. An asterisk (*) on any of my WANT pages means a trade is pending for that item and it is no longer needed/available. In addition to Indians, I'm also a Pirates and Steelers team set collector. If you have an oddball, parallel, or insert... I'm likely to be interested. Below are other players I collect. Check out my WANT/HAVE pages for these players and let me know if you can fill in a hole. Jim Thome Robin Yount Jake Peavy Dave Dravecky Troy Glaus Brook Jacoby Buddy Bell Omar Vizquel Dean Palmer Brett Butler Sandy Alomar, Jr. Jerome Bettis Hines Ward Donovan McNabb Larry Fitzgerald Tony Gonzalez Randy Moss Steve Largent Richmond Webb (I'm three hours older than he is - I asked him!) I'm also looking for ANYTHING of the 1970s Steelers, the LAST great franchise - built ONLY through the draft. Not a single guy on the roster was from outside their system. THAT is amazing! Sorry, San Franscisco, Dallas & New England. You've come close in more recent years, but today's Free Agent game is not quite the same "franchise". I'm also willing to trade for ANY Indians, Pirates, Steelers, Cavs, Penguins, Browns and Bills (in order of preference). Check out my "Bulk Trades" link if you'd like to make a bulk team trade. If you can't find anything from THAT list of interests then you aren't trying very hard! Lastly, like most traders, I prefer to trade GU/Autos for GU/Autos, serial-numbered for serial-numbered, vintage for vintage, commons for commons, etc. I do make exceptions particularly when the person offering the more limited card gets the trade advantage (in terms of overall BV). Generally, I look for BV trades within 10%. >>>> ON WITH THE TRADING >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |
