Topps Baseball Card Special Coming to MLB Network March 29th
MLB Network to air hour-long special this Tuesday called “Cardboard Treasures”,
a look back at the history of Topps. During the 2011 baseball card season, Topps
will continue to celebrate their 60th year in the baseball card business with
various promotions.
Topps and the MLB Network have teamed up for an upcoming special called
"Cardboard Treasures". The theme of the show revolves around Topps' 60 years in
the baseball card business. The hour-long retrospective will air this Tuesday
night. Below are all the show details for your convenience.

USA Baseball to Make it's First Appearance in 2010 Bowman baseball cards - On

OF USA BASEBALL. Exclusive, multi-year agreement reunites former partners from
1984 - 1993. USA Baseball and the Topps Company, the leading creator and
marketer of sports cards, today announced an exclusive multi-year licensing deal
to make Topps the Official Baseball Card of USA Baseball. Topps will have
exclusivity on USA Baseball trademarks, logos and other intellectual property,
for use on cards featuring USA Baseball players.
* The Upper Deck Company is pleased to
announce that Upper Deck ad Major League Baseball have mutually agreed to settle
the lawsuit brought by Major League Baseball against Upper Deck. Per the terms
of the settlement agreement, Upper Deck has agreed not to use MLB trademarks
including team names and/or logos on its trading cards going forward. However,
as part of the settlement, Upper Deck can and will continue to sell three
recently released baseball card products currently on store shelves: 2009
Signature Stars, 2009 Ultimate Collection and 2010 Upper Deck Series One.

It's called Cop Out and here's the plot...it's a comedy about a veteran NYPD cop
whose rare baseball card is stolen. Since it's his only hope to pay for his
daughter's upcoming wedding, he recruits his partner to track down the thief, a
memorabilia-obsessed gangster.

Nothing like a little voting – bracket style – to get you fired up for March
Madness, otherwise known as the NCAA Tournament. Tuff Stuff is creating a
bracket of the best 16 rookie cards from the 1980s and '90s in baseball,
basketball, football and hockey, titled "Bracketology 2010" and pitting them
against each other until there is one left standing – all determined by your
votes.
Voting is underway (on www.tuffstuff.com Homepage) and run through the NCAA
title game on April 5 when we'll announce the voting results, announce a RC
champion and announce the winning voters.
